With Numara Asset Management Platform, you can track all of the hardware and software assets on your corporate network and know where they are located. Numara Asset Management Platform allows Agents to dynamically identify which PC assets (including hardware and software) are on the corporate network, where they are, how they are configured, and whenever changes are made to them. Routers and other network elements are also identified. Asset data is fully integrated with FootPrints Issue Management.
The Numara Asset Management Platform only works with Numara FootPrints on a Windows operating system and only with Internet Explorer.
You must install Numara Asset Management Platformseparately and set up a DSN with a login and password that have administration privileges to the Numara Asset Management Platform database before enabling and configuring it for FootPrints. FootPrints provides an integration to the Numara Asset Management Platform, but is not an interface to it. Instead, when you use FootPrints with the Numara Asset Management Platform, you are performing a lookup into the asset management database.
